About This Site

Polk Burnett Outdoors is a website dedicated to bring you outdoor news and information from the Burnett and Polk county area of Northwest Wisconsin.

General outdoors news, information from the Wisconsin DNR, hunting and fishing reports from the lakes, rivers, forests and trails. We get our information reports from local Contributors, the area’s pro shops and resorts, outdoor sports and wildlife clubs and organizations.

Contributors Wanted

We can’t cover all the lakes and woods by ourselves, so we’re looking for Contributors. Please send us pictures from your last canoe trip, fishing adventure, hike, hunt or trail ride and let us know where the fish are biting.

Advertise With Us

Let our viewers, who are active in the outdoors, know about your specials and any upcoming events. Tell families about your campground’s seasonal sites, or let snowmobilers know how close to the trail your bar & grill is located.

This site’s core audience are people who live or spend time in Polk and Burnett Counties. If you have an area business or organization, those are people who would see your advertisement.

Individual Post Sponsorships  – Post Sponsors have their banner style advertisement across the bottom of an article that is posted to the website. The banner image or text can be linked to your website. We can create the image at no additional charge, or it can be provided by you. Post Sponsors are rotated through the posts. Some posts are skipped to reduce the clutter of advertisements.
